Neodymium rod magnets are usually called neodymium cylinder magnets. They describe the same shape of neodymium rare earth magnets. Please see neodymium cylinder magnets for details.
They can be made from longer cylinder magnets and usually need cutting and milling processes in order to get the right parts. Strong neodymium cylinder magnets are used for home appliances and ordinary magnetic assemblies etc.
